Dandelion (Latin name: Taraxacum mongolicum Hand.-Mazz.) Asteraceae, Dandelion is a perennial herb. Root cone-shaped, surface brown, shriveled, leaf edge sometimes with wavy teeth or pinnately parted, base gradually narrowed into petiole, petiole and main vein are often reddish-purple, upper part of scape purple-red, densely covered with spider-like white Villous hair; inflorescence head, involucre bell-shaped, achene dark brown, long pappus white, flower and fruit period from April to October.
Dandelion is also known as Huanghuadiding, Popoding, Huahualang and so on. Compositae herbaceous perennials. Inflorescence heads, pompons formed by white pistils on the seeds, float to new places with the wind after blooming to give birth to new life.

Organic dandelion extract is usually an herbal mixture which suspends oils derived from undried flowers, leaves, and roots of the dandelion plant in a liquid made of grain alcohol and glycerin. Dandelion extract has been used for generations as a medicine for conditions such as fevers, diarrhea, fluid retention, breast problems and liver diseases
Functions:
1. Help balance electrolytes in the blood, uric acid levels and cholesterol levels for some people;
4. It is a general stimulant to the system, but especially to the urinary organs, and is chiefly used in kidney and liver disorders.
5. In folk medicine, Dandelion is also used as a remedy for hemorrhoids, gout, rheumatism, eczema, other skin conditions, and diabetes. Its effectiveness for these problems has not, however, been verified.
6. In Asian medicine, dandelion is used to treat chronic ulcers, stiff joints, and tuberculosis. It is also used to induce milk production in nursing mothers and to soothe inflamed breast tissue.
