Isatis Root Extract is a yellow-brown powder extracted from the dried roots of the plant Radix Isatidis. It has been used in traditional Chinese medicine to treat the common cold and other infections of the throat, nose and sinuses (upper respiratory tract infections), as well as infections of the glands that make saliva (parotitis).
Other lab experiments also show that Isatis Root Extract can kill certain viruses and counteract some symptoms and tissue damage from bacterial infections.

Radix Isatisdis Root Extract is a yellow-brown powder extracted from the dried roots of the cruciferous plant Isatis indigotica. The main active ingredients are indigo, isatin, indigo, isatin B, uridine, uracil, hypoxanthine, and salicylic. Acid, indigo ketone, carotin, β-sitosterol, isatidin, C and butyl. It also contains vegetable proteins, resinous substances, sugars, glucosinolates, various amino acids and trace elements.
Functions :
1. Elimination of eye fatigue and improve vision Bright eyes, improve vision and eye function.
2. Help to reduce eye bags and dark circles.
3. Antioxidant.
4. Rich in beta-carotene and flavanoids, compounds that help improve cognitive function.
5. Helps eliminate harmful toxins from the liver, and thereby protect it from any sort of damage.
6. Be used topically as an anti-acne agent and useful for irritation caused by other dry skin conditions.
7. Improves immune system.
