The main active ingredient of bupleurum extract is the total saponin of bupleurum, which has the effect of resolving exterior and interior, soothing liver and relieving depression. What is Bupleurum extract?

The bupleurum is a perennial herb that grows to about 1 meter in height and usually
found in the wild in patches along the sunny sides of sedge thickets. The Bupleurum
is characterized by simple stem hugging leaves that grow alternately from the stem.
Bupleurum leaves are broad, lanceolate in shape with gradually tapering base.
 
Bupleurum bears small green to yellow flowers in axillary position and develop
in umbrellate inflorencenses on the plant body.The flowers turn into Bupleurum
fruit that is oblong or ellipsoid in shape slightly laterally compressed and has 5
ribs. The seeds are plane.Bupleurum has long been used in Chinese medicine
which is among the 'harmony herb"

 

Bupleurum chinense is a kind of common Chinese medicine for clearing deficiency and heat, and it is very popular among the public. Saikosaponin can obviously inhibit the secretion of gastric juice, reduce pepsin activity and ulcer coefficient.




Saikosaponin and sapogenin can reduce serum cholesterol and triglyceride. α - spinach sterol has the effect of lowering blood cholesterol.

 

Bupleurum Extract (Bupleurum Falcatum) Concentrate is a safe and effective herb used primarily in China over the last several centuries, in most cases to support the internal organs, the eyes, and for nausea. Bupleurum Extract is able to do so with the components saikosaponin-d and stigmasterol that may stimulate improved circulatory system response and provide relief to the menstruation processes.
